Se i pezzi devono essere dotati di un supporto per dati, è richiesta la tecnologia RFID nella banda di frequenza UHF. Turck ha dotato una casa automobilistica in Cina del suo sistema RFID. Poiché il supporto per dati è direttamente collegato alla carrozzeria, la produzione non sarà ottimizzata solo nell'officina di assemblaggio della carrozzeria, ma anche nelle fasi successive del processo.
Sistema di trasporto intelligente per i pannelli della carrozzeria
L'assemblaggio della carrozzeria è una delle prime fasi della linea di produzione, una sequenza di lavorazioni lunga e altamente automatizzata la cui efficienza produttiva dipende principalmente dal sistema di trasporto. La carrozzeria è suddivisa nelle linee per pannelli inferiori, pannelli laterali, pannelli centrali e di regolazione, in base al processo di produzione. Per collegare i diversi componenti della linea di assemblaggio della carrozzeria viene utilizzato un sistema di trasporto meccanico altamente intelligente. Il normale funzionamento del sistema di trasporto meccanico è essenziale per la produzione della carrozzeria.
Per questo è necessario che il sistema di trasporto meccanico altamente automatizzato funzioni in modo efficiente e continuo. Il PLC controlla l'intero sistema e ne garantisce il funzionamento continuo. Il fieldbus è una rete Profinet che connette tutte le sottostazioni RFID locali. I moduli di interfaccia presenti nell'area possono eseguire tutti i processi di scrittura e lettura sotto il controllo del sistema e trasmettere i dati presenti nei supporti al sistema di controllo attraverso il bus.
Processi di saldatura ottimizzatiLa saldatura rappresenta un anello importante tra i quattro principali processi di produzione delle auto e fa uso di apparecchiature complesse e veloci. Per garantire i livelli di produzione di un turno e ridurre i costi di produzione, è quindi fondamentale massimizzare l'efficienza del sistema di trasporto e ridurre così i tempi di attesa sulla linea di produzione.
L'introduzione del sistema RFID consente ai clienti di risolvere questi problemi. Montando i tag UHF sui pannelli della carrozzeria e trascrivendone i dati sul modello di auto, è possibile conoscere in ogni momento la posizione esatta di un modello di auto: in questo modo il sistema di trasporto può classificare automaticamente le auto secondo il modello e trasportare i componenti alle diverse stazioni di produzione.
La linea di produzione viene informata in anticipo sulle parti che occorre saldare grazie al rilevamento delle informazioni sui tag delle cinque - sei vetture che entreranno nella linea di saldatura. In questo modo si migliora notevolmente la continuità dell'intera linea di produzione, riducendo i tempi di attesa del processo di saldatura.
Inoltre, i sistemi informativi delle diverse aree del processo di produzione erano prima relativamente indipendenti mentre è necessario scambiare una grande quantità di dati quando si trasportano i componenti delle auto nelle diverse aree di produzione. Con i tag UHF di Turck applicati ai pannelli della carrozzeria, i supporti per dati passano attraverso tutte le aree, assicurando un flusso di informazioni coerente, evitando la trasmissione di dati tra le varie sezioni, semplificando notevolmente il processo operativo e migliorando l'efficienza produttiva.
